About Monique
I am an integrative psychotherapist, author, and speaker with a deep passion for walking alongside people and helping them to navigate life's challenges - whether in the spotlight of performance and public life, or in the quieter, unseen pressures of family, work, and daily living. My approach is collaborative and client-led, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are and support the change you’re seeking.

I also work strategically with organisations seeking evidence based solutions that support wellbeing and sustainable growth. Head to my consultancy page for more information.

My background in music as a recording artist, along with almost 20 years of experience working to develop people in education, criminal justice, churches and local communities, inform my practice. Equally, my own faith, life experiences as a black woman, mother and wife have shaped my work.

I believe that healing and growth begin with rest, not just physical rest, but the kind that allows for repair, emotional integration, and a renewed capacity to engage with life. Our work together will move at a pace that feels right for you, whether that means exploring deeper patterns or focusing on immediate coping strategies.

I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and regularly attend clinical supervision. I hold a Masters in Theology and Transformative Practice, a PGDip in Psychotherapy and Counselling, a PGDip in Education and I am currently completing an Msc in the Psychology of Mental Health. I aim to undertake a doctorate in the future as part of my ongoing commitment to professional development.
